Elena Konotopova, the President of the Eurasian Subtitlers’ League, forwarded an appeal to the Administration of the Russian President outlining a set of measured aimed at supporting the profession of an audiovisual translator at the time of the crisis.
The appeal highlighted the need to preserve unique staff and measures that could promote that. The Admistration also brought the corresponding departments of the Council of Ministers into the picture.
